Refund Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This Refund Policy explains when money paid for a course booked through mentorvise.com is refunded and when it is not. It forms part of our Terms of Service. The operator is Mentorvise, MB, company code 307103689, Lazdynėlių g. 17-16, LT-04126 Vilnius, Lithuania — contact info@mentorvise.com.
1. The short version
- The 15% advance payment is non-refundable once paid, except in the cases listed in sections 4, 5 and 6.
- If you cancel less than 14 calendar days before the course start date and the course is still going ahead, no refund is given — advance or balance.
- If the Mentor or Mentorvise cancels or moves the course, or the Mentor cancels your place because you do not hold the required qualification, you get your money back in full.
- Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory law. If you are a consumer, see section 6.
2. How payment works
Registration happens in two stages:
- Advance payment — 15% of the course price. This creates a provisional registration and holds your place.
- Balance — the remaining 85%. This must be paid at least 14 calendar days before the course start date to complete your registration.
If the balance is not paid in time, your provisional registration may be cancelled and the place offered to someone else. In that case the advance payment is not refunded, because the place was held for you and withdrawn from sale.
3. If you cancel
This section applies where the course is going ahead as planned, the Mentor is able and willing to deliver it, and you decide not to attend — for any reason, including illness, work commitments, travel problems, visa refusal or a change of mind.
| When you cancel | Advance (15%) | Balance (85%) |
|---|---|---|
| More than 14 calendar days before the start date | Not refunded | Refunded, if already paid |
| 14 calendar days or less before the start date | Not refunded | Not refunded |
| You do not attend, or leave early | Not refunded | Not refunded |
Why: places on these courses are strictly limited, and a place held for you is a place refused to someone else. Inside the final two weeks it is normally impossible to fill a cancelled place, and the Mentor has already committed premises, models, products and time.
We are not obliged to transfer your place to another date or another person, but you may ask us at info@mentorvise.com and we will pass the request to the Mentor. Any transfer is at the Mentor’s discretion.
4. If the Mentor or Mentorvise cancels or changes the course
If a course is cancelled, or its date, time or location is changed materially, by the Mentor or by Mentorvise, you may choose either:
- a place on the rescheduled course or another agreed course; or
- a full refund of everything you paid for that course, advance included.
That refund is the full extent of our responsibility. As set out in our Terms of Service, Mentorvise does not compensate travel, flights, accommodation, transfers, visa fees, lost income, lost profit, lost opportunity or any other cost you incurred in connection with the course. Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements before your registration is complete, and consider travel insurance.
5. If you do not hold the required qualification
Courses may be restricted to holders of particular medical or healthcare qualifications. If the Mentor concludes, in their professional judgement, that you do not hold the qualification the course requires, they may cancel your registration. In that case everything you paid for that course is refunded in full to your original payment method.
Giving false or misleading information about your qualifications is a breach of our Terms. Where a registration is cancelled for that reason, refunds are at our discretion and we may close your account.
6. Your statutory rights as a consumer
If you book as a consumer — that is, for purposes outside your trade, business or profession — European Union consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal within 14 days of concluding a distance contract, and nothing in this policy removes it.
Two points of detail matter in practice:
- If you ask us to begin providing the service (including holding your place) during the withdrawal period and the service is then fully performed, the right of withdrawal ends once performance is complete. If you withdraw after performance has begun but before it is complete, you may be charged an amount proportionate to what has already been provided.
- Where a contract provides for a specific date or period of performance for a leisure-related service, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply at all.
Most people booking our courses do so for their professional practice and are therefore not consumers for this purpose. If you believe you booked as a consumer and wish to withdraw, write to info@mentorvise.com within 14 days of booking and we will handle your request under the applicable law.
Nothing in this policy affects your rights where a service is not provided as described or is not of the standard required by law.
7. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, in the original currency, normally within 14 days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may need several more working days to show the money. We do not refund to a different person, card or account.
Currency-conversion differences, bank charges and card-scheme fees applied by your own provider are not reimbursed by us.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a payment is wrong, contact us first at info@mentorvise.com — most issues are resolved quickly. Starting a chargeback for a booking that falls under section 3 does not create a right to a refund, and we will provide the payment provider with the booking record, this policy and the acceptance you gave at checkout. We may suspend an account with an unresolved chargeback.
9. Questions
Write to info@mentorvise.com with your booking details and we will respond as quickly as we can.
